Hi! I’m Rassamy.
pronounced rahd-SAH-mee.
Advocate.
Community Builder.
Dancer.
As the eldest daughter of Lao war refugees and big sister to a disabled brother, I learned early that creating belonging isn't just professional—it's personal. Now I help communities transform their approach to accessibility and justice through cultural understanding and community building.
When I'm not partnering with organizations or speaking about cultural competency, you'll find me on the dance floor, proving that sometimes the best conversations about change happen between songs.

What I Dance
I actively dance, organize, compete, and travel for West Coast Swing, a partner dance where two people move together in a slot (like dancing in a hallway), creating smooth connections to all kinds of music—from hip-hop to country. Think of it as having a conversation through fully improvised movement, where both partners contribute to tell the story.
Follow along as I explore how dance shapes my perspectives on community, connection, and creating spaces where everyone belongs.
